Marvelous Orientation of SAYS Members
South Asian Youth Society (SAYS) has successfully organized its members orientation program on15th September, Thursday. This Orientation program of new listed general members was held in two phases. After a standard online application, writing smart essays, facing interviews even over phone or Skype, the potential members
got the opportunity to enroll in South Asian Youth Society. In the first phase on International Youth Day (11 August ), the general members were invited at The American Center, Dhaka. The executive members of the SAYS were present in that member orientation & International Youth Day Celebration. Founder & President of SAYS Towfique A Khan welcome the new members with warm greetings and thanked them to be the part of SAYS family. He emphasized that in building a united South Asian youth platform to ensure sustainable peace and prosperity of this region SAYS members have to take leadership role with their service and positivism. Acting Deputy Chief of Mission US Embassy Dhaka Lauren Lovelace and Alumni Coordinator of American Center Sabir M Amanullah delivered their inspirational speech on International Youth Day.

After a nice ice breaking session the members were divided into groups. They were told to addressing the challenges of South Asian region and come up with the best potentials. The ideas of Establishing SAYS Soft , Tourism Industry, Visa free South Asia, using Population as an Asset, Ensuring Moral Education for Future Development was presented by the brilliant teams. The best ideas was praised and the members got prizes for their innovative ideas.
Abdul Kabir Aimaq from Afghanistan who is studying Electrical and Electronics Engineering in IUT expressed his feeling. Kabir was present in the second phase of the orientation on 15th September. He said,"I enjoyed the program with its creativity. Love you SAYS. Thanks a lot dear SAYS team, without your efforts it was not possible to meet and make friends with best potentials. Thanks to my group members for presenting excellent and innovative idea for that we got the first position."
The members complimented the organizers of SAYS on its success. They also were enthusiastic and committed to be part of the upcoming project of SAYS" Uniting Youth Leaders of Today and Tomorrow to Build a Better South Asia", where SAYS will organize 1st ever South Asian Youth Leaders' Summit 2012 in Bangladesh.
