1. Shoes – Every fashionista loves her shoes and the current trends for footwear allow everyone to indulge in this favorite accessory. Color is a season must, with everything from hot pinks to bright blues bringing a welcome pop of color to any outfit. Once again mules are a fashion staple, with peep-toe booties, and strappy sandals bringing about a more flirtatious feel. As for the heel, anything goes including flats, platforms, wedges, and high or low heels.

2. Bags – Bags are also introducing a splash of color, from single shades of bright citrus hues, to mixes of primary colors reminiscent of the Caribbean. 3. Jewelry – The biggest jewelry trend this season is the earring. Bright, bold and beautiful, the showier the better. Think 80s Hollywood, or Vegas. Straight, clean lines are favored, and the bright color trend is continuing. Dainty jewelry doesn’t have a place in this season’s trend.

5. Hats – from pastel colored floppy hats to chic little straw boaters accented with boldly colored ribbons, hats are perfect for blustery days, or bad hair days.

6. Head pieces – staying with head gear, the other trending accessory this season is headbands adorned with floral arrangements. Again, the running theme is bright, bright colors but headbands give a youthful, girly twist.

7. Gloves – not functional ‘keep your fingers warm’ gloves but more in keeping with psychedelic sixties meets Audrey Hepburn. Gorgeous fashion accessories that have been brought right up to date through the innovative use of color.

8. Wristbands – still in the hands area, wristbands have been popular through several seasons and are showing absolutely no sign of disappearing. With so many options available, finding the perfect pop of color to complement any outfit is probably going to be the easiest way to embrace this trend.

9. Belts – In case you haven’t noticed the common theme, the range of belts that are hot on the trendy list this year have one thing in common – color! Gone are the muted neutral blacks and browns of recent seasons, it’s time to welcome in purples, yellows, reds, greens and blues. Bright primary and secondary colors are here for the foreseeable future.

10. Lanyards – Enjoying a surge in popularity, the lanyard is the next trendy must be seen in accessory for any self-respecting fashion lover. Perfect for stating your cause, showing your idol or simply, saying how you feel at any time. Remember to pick bright colors to stay on trend.
