Tevez in talks with Inter Milan
It was thought that Alexandre Pato would leave AC Milan for Paris St Germain and because of this AC Milan were in talks with Manchester City over a possible transfer of their want-away striker Carlos Tevez. But recently Pato has withdrawn his interest to play for the French club and wants to remain with the Italian outfit. As the Italian striker is not leaving San Siro so AC Milan now do not need anymore strikers to their squad and hence called off the talks with Carlos. Previously Milan's arch rival
and neighbor, Inter Milan was also interested in the Argentinian but they pulled off when AC Milan went ahead with the negotiation. But now as AC Milan halted the process Inter wants to land the once the darling of Manchester City at San Siro and this time not with the red and black but with blue and black outfit.
Tevez's future has always been a talking point and now that the transfer window is open it has become a saga now. Now Inter President Massimo Moratti wants to reopen talks City and is ready to make a fresh move in the coming week. Moratti has confirmed that he is in talks with City over a possible transfer before the window closes. It has been reported that Inter is ready to pay 25 million euros (£20.75 million) for the service of Carlos Tevez. Carlos earned a bad name in the football world when he refused to come off the bench as a substitute during City's group stage match in the Champions League
against Bayern Munich. He not only earned the wrath of the Citizens but also of everyone who loves the game. It was a clear case of his professionalism and it was an insult to sportsmanship. City coach Roberto Mancini was furious at his striker's behavior and promised that he will not let Tevez play a single match ever again for the blue half of Manchester. So from September 2010 Tevez has not featured for his club in any match and this lack of playing time has also earned him exclusion from the Argentina national team. He even did not feature in the team that came to Bangladesh and India for friendly matches against Nigeria and Venezuela.
Now both the club and Tevez is desperate to leave each other but the problem is not many club wants him. Now only time will tell whether Tevez will make it to Italy and whether Inter makes any serious bid for the ill-mannered Argentinian striker.
