Facebook login has created a reason for debate recently due to a music streaming site, Spotify. The issue that gave rise to the argument was the fact that new users of Spotify who are interested in streaming music from the site are also required to log in to facebook. This means that in order to stream music from Spotify, new users must have a Facebook account to access the service. This decision points out the fact that Facebook will now be able to share, track and report on

anyone’s use of Spotify’s services, assuming they agree on it. Once somebody logins to Spotify using Facebook, all of their listening activity seems to get automatically shared to their Facebook friends ,even if they don't explicitly enable that feature. This has given rise to concern about trading away privacy and control of personal information. It is only natural that some users are unhappy about the interference of social media in sharing personal information. Existing users of spotify have given complaints that there is an update screen while logging in to the service which requests close alignment of the two accounts which leads to tracking of usage by default. To stop this from happening one needs to opt out from this functionality rather than opt in by downloading an application from the facebook inter phase.
While integrations of facebook login is not new (many existing sites have allowed access via facebook account login), mandating new users on using a Facebook account is an interesting move. Apart from the critics, many Spotify users who already have a Facebook account are happy with the integration of the two logins. To them trading of privacy is just a small compromise in return of clear benefits of using Facebook and Spotify together. Spotify also has a very positive view about this policy. They believe their users are very social and they already have a facebook account to begin with and it makes sense to combine the two logins. To them the integration will make “an amazing world of music discovery”.
The facebook login will let Spotify know who its users are, which will make it more valuable. This approach gives access to a wide variety of music by the simplest possible means. This policy will certainly lead to sharing of more music on Facebook, which is a definite benefit for both Spotify and Facebook users which gives Spotify the scope to give away more free music. There is one less user name and password to worry about without the necessity to connect to facebook and in case someone decides to connect to facebook, there is always the option to control what one wants to share and what not via changing Spotify’s settings. According to Spotify, they are always in the process of making changes and trying out new stuff and there is always room for improvement. So feedback from users is a key issue here. Spotify is open to comments and feedback from its users and willing to make changes whenever necessary to overcome this Facebook login issue.

First, take a deep breath and calm down. It is not like you are getting married and until death do you part. Although there are advantages to being clear what you want to do from the start, colleges do not require you to declare a major immediately. You have some time before it is necessary. Furthermore, you have some leeway for changing your mind and changing your major.
The downside to being undecided at first or to changing your major is that it may mean you need to take a few additional classes to fill in some gaps once you do decide (or after you change your mind).

I think I can sum up celebrity fashion trends for the upcoming year in just two words: boots and skin. Not at the same time, of course, we hope. A quick glance at the recent celebrity galas such as the Golden Globe awards or the Sundance film festival shows lots of skin. It almost seems as though the stars are vying with one another to show as much as possible while still having some fabric on their bodies. Read more...

There are numerous men’s fashion rules that have been established over the decades which are viewed by some as sacrosanct and therefore never to be broken. In many instances there are good reasons for such rules as they prevent total fashion disasters and ward away unwary males from poor fashion decisions. However, as the old adage goes, rules are meant to be broken: if not broken, to be bent at the very least. By bending such rules a man can Read more...
